The average injury results in 1.7 weeks lost of playing time.

The most common injuries are:
1.  ACL
2.  Hamstring
3.  Shoulder
4.  Ankle

7.  Achilles

10. Concussions
The two injuries most likely to end a player’s career are ACL injuries and Achilles tendon injuries.
The teams with the most injuries in 2016 were:  1.  Green Bay Packers, 2.  Washington Redskins and 3.  Pittsburgh Steelers.
The average team has 27 medical personnel on the sidelines of a game, including physicians, paramedics, chiropractors, dentists, and trainers.
