A study from University of California showed that people who drink two glasses of beer or wine a day were 18 percent less likely to die early.
“I have no explanation for it, but I do firmly believe that modest drinking improves longevity,” the author of the study stated.
Study participants who were overweight but not obese decreased their odds of premature death by 3%. “It’s not bad to be skinny when you’re young but it’s very bad to be skinny when you’re old,” the researcher stated.
People in the study who exercised for 15-45 minutes a day decreased the risk of early death by 11%.
Those who had a daily hobby were 21% less likely to die early.
Those who drank two cups of coffee a day decreased their risk of early death by 10%.
