What are the most common rectal foreign bodies removed in the Emergency Department?

Between 2009 and 2014, there were an estimated 17,968 emergency room visits for foreign bodies stuck in a rectum, according to the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System .
You may guess that many were sex toys, and you would be right as 40% indeed were sex toys.  However, 60% were other objects!
About three-quarters of the patients were male.
