Movember is an Annual event to raise awareness of men’s health issues.
It was named to combine the words for “Moustache” and “November”–> Movember.
There is a Movember Foundation charity that raises money for men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health.
Movember was started in Australia by a group of young men in a pub, who had the idea of growing their mustaches for the entire month of November, and to raise money by selling T-shirts. This later grew into the Movember Foundation Charity.
The Movember charity has now raised $174 million worldwide for men’s health awareness.
