Are more babies born when there is a full moon?

Hospital staff will swear that more babies are born during a full moon, but so far no scientific studies have shown that is the case.

Many studies have been performed to determine if birthrate increases during a full moon,  but to date none have shown an increase in deliveries based on the lunar cycle.

What about ER visits?  Emergency doctors and nurses often state that it is busier on nights with a full moon.  However, studies performed have shown no increase in trauma visits, psychiatric visits, or alcohol/drug related visits on nights where the moon is full.
